Handel's "Messiah"
On Sunday, December 10, 2023, 3:00 PM the Festival Choir and orchestra will present G. F. Handel’s immortal 1741 oratorio, which contains some of his best-known music, including his powerful “Hallelujah” chorus.
If you’d like to join the Festival Chorus for this performance, please contact Dr. Seigart at [email protected]. There are just three rehearsals, and online rehearsal aids are available to help you learn your parts!
The concert is FREE and open to the public. A donation will be taken to support our Open Table Ministry. Open Table is just that, an open table for anyone in the community seeking breakfast and fellowship on Thursday mornings. We served our first breakfast in August 2013 in Heritage Hall with food prepared and served by volunteers and have welcomed guests every week since then from 6:00–8:00 AM. Donated time, food, and supplies support our program. See less
