Pepsi Tailgate Throwdown at Northwest Stadium!
PEPSI® is delivering flavor this 2025 NFL season with the all-new Pepsi Tailgate Throwdown, a free tailgating experience that gives football fans the opportunity to taste and decide which local D.C. restaurant has the best tailgating dishes in the city. The event will feature music, tailgate games, and mouth-watering bites with featured dishes from local restaurants Primo Pasta Kitchen and Roaming Rooster. Attendees will have the chance to try each restaurant’s best tailgate dish before voting on their favorite.
Washington Legends Brian Orakpo and Mark Rypien will join in on the fun to rally fans ahead of the Commanders home game versus the Seattle Seahawks.
Building off Pepsi’s “Tailgate Crashers” campaign, the Pepsi Crashers are heading to the Commanders’ Northwest Stadium on Sunday, November 2, to prove one thing: Tailgating Deserves Pepsi. From 4 PM – 7:50 PM ET around all tailgating lots, the Crashers will hit the lots in their signature blue jumpsuits, surprising fans with FREE ice-cold Pepsi Zero Sugar and transforming parking-lot grill outs into Pepsi-fueled celebrations. From burgers to brats to wings, every gameday bite deserves Pepsi.
This November 2 event is the continuation of the Pepsi Tailgate Throwdown series, with the final matchup scheduled for November 9. Every event features two new local restaurants, each competing to win the title of best tailgate dish and the grand prize of $5,000 cash.
