Del Ray women's history walk
What do the Del Ray Farmers' Market, Cinema Del Ray, Stomping Ground, the Holiday Tree Lighting, and the 7-Eleven at 2108 Mount Vernon Avenue all have in common? The driving force behind them is a woman who embodies the friendly, supportive community of Del Ray. Come celebrate Women's History Month by learning about some of the women who have transformed Del Ray on this free walk organized by the Alexandria Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee. The route is about 1 mile. All are welcome, including families with strollers and well-behaved dogs on leashes.
