We are excited to gather with our supporters, residents, program participants, families, and staff! We believe everyone deserves the chance to live a rich, full life and this fun event supports our mission and programs. For over forty years, Langley has empowered adults with developmental disabilities by supporting each individual to be independent in their daily lives, have full access to their local community, and have safe and affordable housing options within a caring environment. Founded in 1983 by members of Trinity United Methodist Church, Immanuel Presbyterian Church, and Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, Langley sought to provide a supportive home for young adults with developmental disabilities to gain independence as they grow older and foster a close-knit community in Fairfax County. Our mission is to serve adults with developmental disabilities, their families, and our communities by providing quality, comprehensive residential and community support services. We believe everyone deserves the chance to live a rich, full life. 2024 has been a tremendous year for Langley, and our community. We cannot wait to share how we are growing to create rich, full lives for those we serve now and in the future. Enjoy a wonderful evening with the Langley community tasting Portuguese wines and craft beers from The Wine Attic, hearty hors d’oeuvres from St. Germain Catering, live guitar music from a local artist, a curated live and silent auction items for the Langley community, and more. All event proceeds support our general operations that keep our services reliable every day for local adults with developmental disabilities.
