By sorting through the remains of former civilizations and cultures, archaeologists can put together the pieces of how people lived in the past. Guests of all ages can participate in a fun, interactive archaeological dig to learn more about the previous inhabitants of the Mason Neck Peninsula. Rangers will also have examples of artifacts found during excavations in and around the park.
