Love Life Coffee and Artist Angie O’Neal Host Free "Paint & Sip Haircuts" for Federal Workers

As the federal government shutdown continues, thousands of area employees remain furloughed or working without pay. In an effort to provide relief, community connection, and a moment of calm, Love Life Coffee, located at Laurel Shopping Center, will host a free Paint & Sip event for federal workers on Sunday, November 9, from 12 PM to 2 PM. Presented in partnership with local artist Angie O’Neal, the event will include creative painting sessions, refreshments, and complimentary haircuts provided by In the Cut Barbershop. Federal employees can attend free of charge with a valid government ID. Non-government guests are also invited to participate with a $25 suggested donation, with $20 haircuts available onsite. This initiative underscores Laurel Shopping Center’s continued role as a hub for community gatherings and local support during times of hardship.
