IBDS plays a vital role in collecting blood products that save lives within our community daily. As a significant supplier of blood in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, IBDS fulfills the needs of all five Inova hospitals and 13 other regional hospitals.
Each blood donation has the potential to impact multiple lives, from patients undergoing surgery to individuals receiving treatment for chronic illnesses or traumatic injuries. By participating in these blood drives, donors can make a tangible difference in the lives of those facing medical challenges.
