The interactive projections reflect the changing seasons, featuring clouds for summer, falling leaves for autumn, flowers for spring, and snow for winter. Your movements influence how these elements shift and flow, creating a visual journey through the seasons.​​ Virtual Reality Films Travel through the nation's capital like never before by way of immersive VR dance films, each capturing the unique spirit of a season and location!​ Filmed with cutting-edge 360-degree cameras, these captivating films transport you into the heart of each location, allowing you to move alongside the dancers and feel fully immersed in DC’s dynamic seasonal transformations. Dancing in Pixels, created by Sarah J. Ewing, is being funded, partially or fully, through the District of Columbia Executive Office of the Mayor - Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development. This 100-day activation is designed to inspire audiences across generations through the intersection of dance and technology.
