We will begin in our sanctuary with a brief history of Juneteenth. We'll then walk to the Little River Turnpike by our LRUCC sign to mark the day, holding signs like "Black History is American History," "Black Lives Matter," and "Honk for Juneteenth"! We'll conclude with a re-enactment of the Emancipation Proclamation in our parking lot. Written reflections from contemporary voices will be posted around the parking lot, and light refreshments will be provided.
