K-Pop Academy DC 2022 will take place in person at the Korean Cultural Center Washington, D.C. in July and August, but anyone can apply. While acceptance into the program is competitive, there's no cost to apply and no cost to participate!
In recent years K-Pop Academy has grown into a global program hosted at various Korean Cultural Centers around the world. It offers fans of all nationalities the chance to experience the intensity, richness, and camaraderie of Korean pop culture firsthand. Joining K-Pop Academy doesn't require special dance, vocal, or other experience-just a passion to learn!

The schedules outlined below are for reference to help applicants know what to expect overall. For all classes, in-person meetings will take place at the Korean Cultural Center Washington, D.C. (2370 Massachusetts Ave NW, Washington DC 20008).

How to Apply: Complete the online application form at the link below. Applicants selected for participation will be contacted directly. Please understand that the process is competitive, and that due to strong interest only a portion of applicants are selected for participation. In your application, be sure to express your passion and tell us what participating would mean to you! Applicants are encouraged to be thoughtful and to convey, for example, their passion, how they could benefit from the program, and/or their personal motivations in their application, all of which will be considered. Participants are not selected based on individual skill but on maximizing the positive impact of the program.
