GMU Visiting Filmmakers Series: "Confessions of a Good Samaritan" with filmmaker Penny Lane
The GMU Visiting Filmmakers Series invites you to a free screening of "Confessions of a Good Samaritan," followed by a live Q&A with the film's director, Penny Lane, and Dr. Lisa Eckenwiler, Chair of GMU’s Department of Philosophy.
In the film, director Penny Lane’s decision to become a “Good Samaritan” by giving one of her kidneys to a stranger launches her on an unexpectedly funny, intimate, and provocative personal quest to understand the nature of altruism.
This event is free and open to the public. Registration is required.
