The Pan American Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Sergio Alessandro Buslje presents Tango Apiazzollado, a concert celebrating the 100th birthday of Astor Piazzolla, the acclaimed Argentine composer and bandoneon player who revolutionized the tango by infusing it with jazz and classical music.
With Latin Grammy winner Rodolfo Zanetti on bandoneon, Pablo Estigarribia on piano, and a pair of international tango dancers, the Orchestra brings you an evening of Piazzolla's most exciting works, with all the beautiful melodies, daring intensity, and exuberant rhythms that made him a legend during and beyond his lifetime.
