Purchasing Tickets: A limited number of tickets are available for The Twig’s Historic Alexandria Homes Tour, a premier fall event in Old Town. Proceeds of the Homes Tour benefit Inova Alexandria Hospital.

Historic Alexandria Homes Tour on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the heart of
Old Town Alexandria.
For more than eight decades, this beloved self-guided walking tour has welcomed visitors into some of Old
Town’s most beautiful historic homes and gardens. The homes are kept a secret until tour day — discovering
them is part of the fun. A modest exterior can open into rooms full of curated art, collections, and English
gardens, all while you enjoy Virginia’s lovely early-autumn weather. It’s a rare chance to step inside
Alexandria’s living history.
Early-bird tickets are $45 through July 31 ($50 starting August 1) and are available now at
www.thetwig.org/homes-tour/tickets/. The tour has sold out in recent years, so we encourage you to
reserve early and save.
