Watch wheat treading demonstrations in Washington's innovative 16-sided threshing barn, and visit the Farrier to learn how horseshoeing was performed in the 18th century. See how laundry was done in the 18th-century and help in the process, and watch demonstrations of cooking, candle-making, and spinning.
This event is included with admission and is free for Mount Vernon members.
