Woofie's® of Western Loudoun Announces Grand Opening Event of Mobile Pet Business, with Commitment

Woofie’s of Western Loudoun, serving Western Loudoun and Clarke Counties, is now offering premier pet care services for dogs, cats, birds, lizards, and other animals. It will celebrate its official launch during the Loudoun Pet Expo, a family- and pet-friendly, free event in Loudoun, and is planning to give back to local shelters.

WHAT and WHEN:

Woofie’s of Western Loudoun will celebrate its launch on Sunday, Sept.8th (rain date: Sept. 15th) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

During the Loudoun Pet Expo, Woofie’s will celebrate its grand opening while also supporting animal rescue. Woofie’s of Western Loudoun will accept monetary donations to be donated to Friends of Homeless Animals (FOHA) in Aldie, VA, in exchange for Wash ‘n Go baths and nail trims, while supplies and time permit.

WHERE:

The Pet Expo will be held at Franklin Park, a regional park in Western Loudoun County, in Purcellville, VA. The Woofie’s mobile pet spa van will be set up near other vendors.

WHO:

The new Woofie’s franchise is independently owned and operated by long-term Virginia resident Jennifer Sposito, who is making the leap from the world of corporate marketing to pet care, embracing her love of animals.

Woofie’s pet services comprise a wide range of services including pet sitting, dog walking, and dog grooming via a mobile pet spa, among other personalized services.

Jennifer says, “I have been a Woofie’s client for more than 11 years for both pet sitting and mobile grooming, and still continue to use them for my pets’ care. I wanted to bring that same high-level of pet care service to Western Loudoun and Clarke Counties. While offering pet care services to animals who already have a loving home, I’m also looking forward to giving back to the community. Many local shelters and rescues are at capacity. I’m partnering with several non-profit organizations, with the hope to help create awareness, raise funds, and be that bigger voice for animals. I’m even doing my part personally by fostering a dog in need.”

Jennifer and her family have several dogs and guinea pigs that have been adopted from Fairfax County Animal Shelter, Clarke County Animal Shelter, Friends of Homeless Animals; their current foster dog, Thunder, was saved from euthanization by Love Paws. Jennifer and Woofie’s of Western Loudoun regularly give back to local shelters by providing free dog baths and nail trims to dogs that are up for adoption and support their fundraising efforts by donating gift certificates and giveaways.
