Heart disease remains the number one killer in the United States and is responsible for one out of every five female deaths. Yet women are often underdiagnosed and untreated.
oin Garima Sharma, MD, Director of Cardio-Obstetrics and Director of Cardiovascular Women’s Health at Inova, for an interactive discussion about how to reduce your risk of heart disease. Dr. Sharma will also describe the specialized services provided by the team of experts in the Inova Women’s Cardiovascular Health Program.
Dr. Sharma is board certified in cardiovascular disease and sees patients in Inova Cardiology’s Fairfax office.
