A Thoughtful Gathering on Self-Love & Sustainability
Join us for a unique and refreshing experience as we redefine love beyond consumerism. This gathering is an opportunity to reflect, connect, and create in a space that prioritizes self-love, intentional living, and community.
✨ What to Expect:
🧘🏽♀️ Guided Meditation – A brief 5-minute meditation to center ourselves.
📖 Historical Context – Unpacking the origins and commercialization of Valentine’s Day.
🌍 Cultural Impact – Exploring how capitalism and consumerism disproportionately affect BIPOC communities, creating unnecessary financial and emotional pressures.
💡 Reclaiming the Narrative – Shifting from external validation to self-love, sustainable relationships, and mindful living.
🌱 Terrarium-Making Workshop – A hands-on creative session led by Savannah Scollar, owner of Easy Little Plants.
Come as you are and wear whatever makes you feel comfortable—this is a space to relax, connect with like-minded individuals, and enjoy the vibes and activities. Get ready to chat, get your hands a little dirty, and make lasting memories with our growing community.
Light refreshments provided; parking is free. The event is on the second floor of Easy Little Plants (up the stairs).
We will start promptly at 1:30 p.m., so please arrive in time to get your refreshments and be ready to get into it.
