This is a 4-week series ($100 for all four weeks) beginning Thursday, April 9th. Subsequent classes are: Thursday, April 16th, Thursday, April 23rd and Thursday, April 30th.
Anxiety is rampant in our world today. As many as 25% of the population will experience an anxiety disorder during their lifetime. Research has shown that yoga therapy is beneficial as a supportive therapy in treating anxiety disorders. It is cost-effective and easily accessible to most. In addition, there are no known side effects. Yoga therapy supports the physical, psychological, and emotional well-being and addresses each synchronously. Participants will develop and practice tools and strategies to positively affect anxiety.
The Yoga Therapy for Anxiety workshop will include an emailed intake and pre-workshop call for each participant, 4-1 1⁄2 hour group yoga therapy sessions, and a follow-up call with each participant. Scholarships available: email [email protected]
