Gottaswing's Annual Have A Heart Hop (Swing Dance and Charity Fundraiser)
Gottaswing has been in the area since 1994 - with classes in DC, Virginia and Maryland - sharing our love of all things swing dance! Find more information at our website: www.gottaswing.com
Every year in February we hold our fundraising event for two wonderful charities: Honor Flight Network, which bring WWII and Korea veterans to DC for free to see their memorials and be celebrated for their service. More information about them can be found at http://www.honorflight.org.
The other charity is Lucky Dog Animal Rescue, an agency that flies/transports cats and dogs from around the world, usually from places struck by natural disaster or otherwise, to the DC area to be fostered and adopted. To date they've rescued over 30,000 animals! More information can be found about them at https://www.luckydoganimalrescue.org
By purchasing a ticket to this event, you will have access to a 30 minute swing dance lesson, 2.5 hours of live swing dance music by the amazing King Teddy band, a 50/50 raffle and a silent auction. $10 of your ticket price will go directly to our two charities.
