Fall Acting Classes for the Kids!

Classes combine creative movement and speaking to help young people learn how to express themselves in a supportive environment. There are no "wrong" answers in theatre, and we encourage students to share their thoughts and ideas so every voice is heard. This Fall, classes range from Fairytale Fun for the 4-5 year olds (dress ups, stories, creative movement), Kindness Rules - Stone Soup, the classic tale of sharing for the 6-8 year olds, and Radio Play for older students interested in sound effects and bringing a story to life. Stage Makeup: learning how to create the looks of animals and characters - just in time for Halloween! Pirates and Princesses (or Princess Pirates!) for the 6-8 year olds will combine characters from those genres to create a short skit. Plus more singing, dancing and acting for all ages! Alexandria Children's Theatre offers a Drop In ($25) so children can try out the class before families register for the session, and there's a payment plan too.
