“Dolphland” Pop-Up Museum Comes to Washington, DC from March 10th - 12th to Honor Rapper Young Dolph

Paper Route Empire - Independent record label Paper Route Empire, founded by late Memphis rapper and multi-platinum hip hop artist Young Dolph, partnered with Trap Music Museum for the national launch of the “Dolphland” Pop-Up Museum Tour.
The “Dolphland” Pop-Up Museum honors Young Dolph’s life, his contributions to hip-hop, and celebrates his posthumous album “Paper Route Frank”. The pop-up museum is curated and inspired by his journey towards becoming a multi-platinum recording artist, featuring artwork portraying Adolph “Young Dolph” Thornton Jr. throughout various stages of his life.
Attendees of the “Dolphland” Pop-Up Museum Tour will be fully immersed into the creativity, music and legacy of Young Dolph as they experience sensory overload via various mediums of original art presented throughout the exhibit. Additionally, guests will have access to exclusively designed merch that will only be available in cities that the “Dolphland” Pop-Up Museum Tour visits.
Skye Williams, also known as “Set by Skye”, who’s led activations for Wale and Jidenna, is the creative director behind “Dolphland” Pop-Up Museum Tour. Williams explains that each room design came from friends, family, and collaborators close to Young Dolph. The pop-up contains a recreation of a corner store on Castalia Street in Memphis, a “weed room”, and a recording studio, as well as rooms showcasing Young Dolph’s platinum plaques and the other artists signed to Paper Route Empire.
The “Dolphland” Pop-Up Museum Tour will be held in Washington, DC from Friday, March 10th - Sunday, March 12th, 2023 at the Asian Fusion Gallery, 1343 L Street NW, Washington, DC, 20005. The event is open to all ages and $40.00 tickets can be bought online at https://thedolphlandmuseum.com or at www.youngdolph.com. Daily hours vary and guests have an allotted 30-minute time slot after purchasing a ticket to visit the pop-up museum.
