In honor of America’s 250th anniversary, “Passport to Patriotism: 250 Years of Diplomacy” brings together works by more than 30 contemporary American artists celebrating patriotism, national identity, military service, diplomacy, and the American Dream. It marks the first time the U.S. Department of State’s Office of Art in Embassies — which has shared American art with the world for over six decades — has presented a major public exhibition in the nation’s capital.
