Learning to Heal: Movement and Eating Disorder Recovery
Recovering from an eating disorder looks different for every body, and movement and exercise can be a tricky thing to navigate in recovery. It can be difficult to know when and how to safely begin to move again, and what it means to trust your body through that process. Join Clarity Fitness, a body positive, eating disorder informed fitness studio, and Rock Recovery, an outpatient eating disorder nonprofit, for an important conversation about how movement can safely fit into the eating disorder recovery journey. This presentation is perfect for all community members, including those on their own recovery journey, coaches and fitness professionals, clinicians and those supporting a loved one in treatment.

Their trainers are specifically trained in Health at Every Size, Body Positive, and Eating Disorder informed movement, and their team is able to work alongside an eating disorder recovery treatment team to ensure the wellness needs of each individual client are met.
About Rock Recovery: Rock Recovery is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Arlington, VA that supports the journey to recovery from disordered eating through holistic and accessible therapy programs, support groups and community education.
