26th Annual Suitlandfestival + 2nd Annual Community Peace Walk
The Suitlandfest Community Development Corporation (CDC) and Suitland Recreation Council proudly present the 26th Annual Suitlandfest on Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Suitland Community Center, 5600 Regency Lane, Forestville, MD. This year’s theme, “The Community Sankofa,” honors our past while building a stronger future. Admission is FREE!
Enjoy a day of live entertainment, the 2nd Annual Peace Walk, car and truck display, local vendors, and essential community resources. We’ll also host school supply drives, free haircuts for youth and seniors, and fresh food giveaways to support families in need.
“Suitlandfest is more than an event—it’s a celebration of resilience, heritage, and unity,” said Willie Wimbush, Chairman of Suitlandfest CDC/Suitland Recreation Council. “We invite everyone to join us for this unforgettable community experience.”
