Brightview Health Addiction Treatment Center Celebrates Recovery with an Open House

BrightView Health Addiction Treatment Center is observing National Recovery Month by inviting the community to learn more about outpatient addiction treatment in Woodbridge. The open house will take place on Wednesday, September 11 from 4 to 6 p.m. Located at 4899 Prince William Parkway, Woodbridge. “Preventing overdose deaths is a top priority and we must spread awareness about this issue,” said BrightView Community Outreach Manager, Hiran Ranasinghe. “We are deeply committed to the Woodbridge area and as September sheds light on recovery, it allows the BrightView team the opportunity to tackle this critical public health issue head on. BrightView does this with a sense of urgency, with the highest quality medical care available, while educating the community about BrightView and celebrating those who have gone the distance and reached successful recovery.” National Recovery Month, an annual observance in September offers BrightView Addiction Treatment Center in Woodbridge an opportunity for a friendly community gathering to celebrate recovery, enjoy food, educate, raise awareness, provide tours of the center, and celebrate success stories. There will be opportunities to talk with Hiran Ranasinghe, community outreach manager about a wide range of issues, including: • What is “effective” addiction treatment? • What patients think is crucial to successful recovery. • How stigma affects people with substance use disorder (SUD) and how to make the positive changes BrightView services are easy to access and available to hundreds of area residents. The center accepts walk-ins until 3 pm weekdays and offers same day appointments. People or families seeking help can call BrightView at 833-510-HELP (4357) 24-hours a day, seven days a week, or schedule an appointment online at brightviewhealth.com. For patients in withdrawal, it takes less than 4 hours from the time they walk through the door to receive stabilizing medication, complete their first counseling session, and begin lasting recovery.
