Truffle Making
There are three parts to this track:
Truffle Making Part I. We begin with a crash course to introduce participants to the art of truffle making and we learn the tricks of the trade that are needed in order to prepare the chocolate that we will be using.
Truffle Making Part II. Once the chocolate has settled, participants choose from a variety of fillings and molds as they create their custom batch of mouth-watering truffles!
History and Kosher. Take an in-depth look at the fascinating history of Jews and chocolate and examine the kosher diet and kosher industry.
Chocolate From Scratch Workshop for ONE
Discover where chocolate really comes from! Participants proceed to make chocolate from scratch by first removing the shell off the nibs of the cacao beans.
"You are what you eat", goes the expression. Uncover the historic connection between Jews and chocolate, and learn all about the multi-billion dollar kosher food industry.
Using cutting-edge technology, participants mold kosher-themed items out of chocolate while exploring the role that food plays in Jewish culture. It’s a hands-on, gastronomical adventure!
Participants take home an overflowing box full of mouth-watering chocolate!
