Major streetwear retailer brings exclusive NSU Air Max 95 early access, live performances, and community celebration to historic HBCU campus
WHAT: SNIPES USA, a leading global sneaker and streetwear retailer, is partnering with Nike's Yardrunners program for an exclusive block party at Norfolk State University. This marks SNIPES' inaugural participation in the prestigious annual campaign celebrating HBCU legacy and culture. This partnership represents SNIPES' ongoing commitment to amplifying HBCU voices and investing in excellence through authentic community engagement.
The event will feature:
- Exclusive early access to the limited-edition NSU Air Max 95 sneakers (in-store availability begins 10/11)
- Live performance by Nino Paid, DMV native and 2025 XXL Freshman - "Spartan Speaks" fireside chat with NSU alumni including retired NBA player Kyle O'Quinn (current NSU Athletic Director), Devon Henry (CEO of Team Henry Enterprises), and celebrity stylist Dex Rob
