Guymon, Oklahoma — 1939. A young boy’s mother goes missing in the dust storms. A washed-up local radio host reluctantly helps in the boy’s search, sending a broadcast through the dusty air. What begins as a desperate on-air plea soon turns into fantastical radio stories about hope.
With an eclectic cast of characters, The Dust Bowl Radio Hour depicts one of the darkest chapters in U.S. history though light and whimsy where it’s least expected. For those who are lost, and those still listenin’....
