The season kicks off with genre-defying Project Trio and their “wide appeal, subversive humor, and first-rate playing,” according to the Wall Street Journal. They will present a wide selection of quirky and energetic pieces, including a modern take on Mozart. The evening concludes with Johannes Brahms and his jubilant Second Symphony, complete with familiar lullabies and a grandiose uninhibited finale.
