Kids Swing Dance Workshop
April 15th is International Dance Day. The Oklahoma Swing Syndicate (TOSS) is a UNESCO Global Heritage Organization, recognized for cultural preservation of the Swing/Jazz music and dance of the 1920-1940s Harlem. We are a nonprofit, family friendly organization. All ages are welcome to the evening events.

Join us for a fun afternoon of dance movement appropriate for 8-12, 13-15 and 16-18 age groups; separate tracks. All age groups will focus on fun, movement to music, innovation, and integration into 6 count swing in socially appropriate ways for young people. In addition the older group will also focus on “prom” preparation, and putting their learning into action on the dance floor. The last part of the workshop will be practice on the dance floor. Time for questions and individual help, instruction and support.
● 8-12 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or responsible adult

● There will be breaks, bring you own favorite snack and something to drink.
$15 for the first family member, $5 for each sibling after the 1st. Groups $10 per person preregistration required
For Everyone:
The evening of April 15th there will be a live, little-big Band, The Monsters of Swing, playing music from this era. The evening event is open and free to everyone whether you are a dancer or just want to watch and listen to this fabulous music performed by seasoned area musicians.
