You’re invited to a very special benefit concert (in-person and live streaming) on March 29, featuring UA violin professor Timothy Kantor, viola professor Molly Gebrian, professor Kelsey Nussbaum, cello professor Theodore Buchholz, and the talented UA String Project faculty. The program includes beloved quartets by Dvořák, Walker, Gardel, Haydn, a few popular gems, and concludes with Grieg’s luscious and evergreen Holberg Suite. This fundraising event provides scholarships for the UA String Project, an outreach program where 75 community K-12 students receive accessible weekly classes, future teachers gain valuable teaching experience. Access is the heart of the UA String Project; our scholarship program offers music instruction to students who might otherwise not be able to afford lessons.
