The Pima County Community Prevention Coalition (CPC) of PPEP, Inc, and Tucson Subaru will hold an Rx Prescription Take-back on Saturday, January 20th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The prescription take-back will be held at Tucson Subaru, 4901 North Oracle Rd., 85704, with assistance from the Tucson Police Department.
The public is invited to bring their unused or unwanted prescription and over-the-counter medications to be dropped off.
“Drug take-backs are healthy for our community,” said Kevin Gribble, Tucson Subaru Finance Manager. “They help to keep medications away from youth and prevent medications from being disposed of in our water system.”
There will be free Naloxone kits and locking caps and boxes available for those dropping off medications.
Items that will not be accepted include liquids, inhalation aerosol bottles, syringes, epi-pens, and creams.
