Restorative Yoga focuses on relaxing the body in restful postures. Rest provides the body an opportunity to renew and heal. Countless studies have proven the physical and emotional benefits of conscious resting. Learn more about teaching this gentle yet dynamic form of yoga. It is appropriate for students with limited mobility, such as back problems, arthritis, fibromyalgia, or other health conditions requiring a gentler approach, including low energy levels. Postures are done with the support of props to let the body stretch and open on its own, allowing for greater circulation of blood, oxygen and energy. Rest, relax, and renew with Restorative Yoga!
This program is part of our current advanced Hatha Yoga Teacher Training-300; it is open to 200 grads or students/caretakers who want to inform their practice.
