Esperanza Dance Project (EDP) is a Tucson-based non-profit organization that was founded in 2011. We are committed to empowering survivors of childhood sexual trauma by eradicating stigma and secrecy while inspiring hope for healing through our impactful dance performance, discussions, and advocacy. EDP has performed across Arizona, reaching high school students, professionals committed to maintaining child safety, and community advocates.
We are so excited to be hosting Rising Hope: Esperanza Dance Project’s First Annual Fundraising Gala on Sunday, November 17th, 2024 from 5-8 pm at Site 17 in downtown Tucson. The event will include live jazz music, light hors d'oeuvres, a silent auction, a cash bar, and featured performances from our new middle school program, ProjectRIS. Rising Hope will also feature the launch of our new logo and branding.
