In 2026, the United States marks a historic milestone: its 250th anniversary. Since 1776, America has grown into a beacon of hope and inspiration—a “city upon a hill” admired around the world. Join the Catalinas Community Chorus as we celebrate the people, places, ideals, and events that make our country unique. From “amber waves of grain” and “sea to shining sea” to Lexington, Gettysburg, and Fallujah, we pay tribute to America and to those who have served in its defense.
This year also marks the 100th anniversary of Route 66, America’s legendary “Mother Road.” We’ll celebrate its history through music and images. Route 66 crosses eight states, stretching 2,448 miles from Chicago to Santa Monica. More than 385 miles of the original highway ran through Arizona, where about 250 miles remain drivable today. That includes the nation’s longest uninterrupted stretch of historic Route 66—about 158 miles between Seligman and Topock. Come along as we “get our kicks on Route 66.”
As part of our annual Veterans Day Salute, we will honor the living and fallen veterans whose service and sacrifice helped shape our nation. Stories of heroism, shared by the heroes themselves, will touch your heart. Inspiring and patriotic music will renew your love of country and deepen your appreciation for those who have defended it.
