Presidio Museum Holiday Celebration and Book Sale
Various activities and presentations will part of the the event:
**Carrillo School performing Las Posadas at 11:30 am
**Jewish History Museum presenting a Hanukkah activity
**Travelers’ Tales including the story of Maria Feliciano Arballos, a woman of African descent who participated in the December 1775 fandango while on the Anza Expedition
In addition, a Holiday Book Sale with local authors selling and signing their books will be part of the event. Authors currently participating are:
**Homer Thiel (Presidio Families, Local Deaths, Smoke Signal)
**Dorothy Yanez (Downtown Tucson Murals and Public Art Tours & Tucson’s Birthplace Through Pictures)
**Carolyn Niethammer (several cookbooks)
**David Devine (Historic Tales of Territorial Tucson: 1854-1912 and other local books)
**William Hartmann (Cities of Gold, Searching for Golden Empires)
**Jean Baxter and Judy Nostrant (Sweetie the Rooster)
