Former Tucsonian Jamie Anderson returns to celebrate the release of her 13th album with local band: Jim Lipson, Suzy Ronsadt and Mark Holdaway. Now from Canada, singer-songwriter Jamie Anderson has played her original songs in hundreds of venues in 4 countries. She’s a multi-instrumentalist who’s folk without the Birkenstocks, country without the big hair, & jazz without the angst. Songs range from the serious “Beautiful,” about body image, to “Marry Me,” about wanting to marry Rachel Maddow because really, who wouldn't?
