The Skin We Live In: Paintings, Prints, Photography, Drawings Miguel Caseo (Mexico City) Ramón San Miquel (Spain-Oaxaca) With artists from the collections of Dan Leach and Douglas Nielsen: Bailey Doogan, Craig Cully, Joel-Peter Witkin, Gérard Beringer, Pedro Meyer, George Strasburger, Shen Wen and others October 27 - December 12, 2025. Reception: November 6, 5-7, Lecture November 6, 6 p.m. This group exhibition explores the complexity of the human experience through representations of the body, identity, vulnerability, and desire. Featuring paintings, drawings, prints, and photographs that offer poetic, raw, and sometimes unsettling reflections on the surfaces and spaces we inhabit, both physical and emotional. Invited guest artists Miguel Caseo (from Mexico City) and Ramón Sanmiquel (who lives and works between Spain and Oaxaca), join artists from the collections of Dan Leach and Douglas Nielsen featuring Bailey Doogan, Craig Cully, Joel-Peter Witkin, Gérard Beringer and Pedro Meyer. Additional contributions come from George Strasburger, Shen Wen, and others whose work investigates the human form and lived experience. ‍The gallery and its programs are free and open to the public. Hours: Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and Friday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., and before most evening performances in the Center for the Arts theaters. Gallery may be closed during campus holidays.
