Baby Rats, Big Hearts Adoption Party

After rescuing and caring for over 150 baby rats for the past month, 46 of our little friends are ready to find loving homes — and HSSA is throwing them the Baby Rats, Big Hearts Adoption Party from 11 to 7 this Saturday, June 1, and 11 to 5 this Sunday, June 2!
Come to our campus at 635 West Roger Road to celebrate these tiny survivors and take a pair or trio of these smart and social creatures home!
The first 20 adopters on Saturday and Sunday will receive a FREE Baby Rat Starter Pack that will include food, care supplies, and a multi-level rat condo to give them the best start to a great life with you. Valued at $200, these kits were made possible by support from two generous donors!
Adoption fees will be $10 for a pair of baby rats, or $15 for a trio. Lucky adopters can also leave with a take-home family photo printed on-site, and you can enjoy sweet treats courtesy of the Town of Marana. Baby rat-themed activities for kiddos will be provided, too!
