When You Wish Upon a Star | Valentines Laser Show
The ancient Greeks told many heart-rending love stories that have been passed down through the ages, and the stories connect to the constellations in the night sky. You’ll hear about Queen Cassiopeia and Cepheus, about Cassiopeia’s beautiful daughter Andromeda and the hero Perseus, and about all-powerful Zeus and his love for the nymph Callisto. These and other timeless tales are written in the stars and explored in the “When You Wish Upon a Star” tour of the night sky.
Tickets are $25 per person and include:
Night sky star talk in the planetarium
Science exhibits with romantic lighting and music
Telescope stargazing (weather permitting)
Special activities
Enjoy a photo of you and you partner or family in the planetarium
Make sure to enjoy the other activities at your leisure during this special event, included with your show ticket, from 6:00 to 9:30PM. Guests can visit our science exhibits, decked out especially for Valentine's Day with special lighting and romantic songs. Enjoy science activities in the exhibit halls as well. Their will be opportunities to view the night sky through telescopes too (weather and clouds permitting) with volunteer astronomers to guide your through points of interest in the night sky.
