FREE Romantic Journey Concert
The Romantic Journey concert will feature orchestral works such as Romeo and Juliet and excerpts from Swan Lake by Tchaikovsky, The Hebrides Overture by Mendelssohn and Pavane by Fauré, In addition, Mozart's Flute Concerto No. 1 (movement 1) will be performed by Fran Moskovitz, principal flute of the Civic Orchestra of Tucson (COT). Marcus Hawkins, a percussionist with COT, will play the Concerto for Marimba and Strings by Emmanuel Séjourné (3rd movement). Dancers will also add an exciting visual element to the performance. The Young Artists' Competition ceremony honoring winners and participants will also take place during the concert.
