Stone Soup: A Musical Feast
University of Arizona Symphonic Choir, conducted by Dr. Elizabeth Schauer, combines with choirs under the direction of Dr. Sinamar Pascua Respicio, including Academy of Tucson High School Advanced Women’s Choir and Alumni, Tucson Women’s Chorus and the Chancel Choir of Christ Church United Methodist. The choirs will present a eclectic and entertaining program including music from Mayan, Idonesian, Yaqui, Arabic, Irish and American traditions. Proceeds from the concert will benefit the Food Pantry of the Christ Church United Methodist Church. Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items, pet food and diapers for the Foot Pantry.
