Sarver Heart Day of Giving Blood
Celebrate Valentine's Day with a meaningful gesture that truly counts.
In collaboration with the American Red Cross and UA EMS, the Sarver Heart Center invites you to the Sarver Heart Day of Giving on Wednesday, February 14th, 2024. Amidst a critical 40% decline in blood donations over the past two decades, Tucson's blood reserves have hit an unprecedented low. Your generosity as a blood donor can make a life-saving impact right here in our community. Join us at the heart-healthy giving event in the Kachina Lounge at the University of Arizona Student Union.
What to expect:
Blood donation opportunities with the American Red Cross
Lifesaving, hands-on skills training by Stop the Bleed professionals
Informational booths from local partners the Terrence Pickrel Heart Fund
All blood donors will receive a $20 Amazon gift card from the American Red Cross as thanks for donating
All donors automatically entered for a chances to win gift cards to local eateries and our grand prize, a 60-minute in-home massage, courtesy of the Terrence Pickrel Heart Fund
