Eucharistic Procession the Feast of Corpus Christi
The procession will begin around 12:45 p.m. (after 11:30 a.m. Mass at St. John Catholic Church). The procession will begin at St. John Church and proceed north on South Monroe Street, continue onto North Monroe Street to Front Street. Then, the group will cross North Monroe Street, moving from east to west Front Street to proceed to St. Michael Church, 502 W. Front St. A police presence has been requested for the crossing.
At St. Michael, the group will led prayer, song and benediction. Light refreshments will follow.
All are welcome. A shuttle service following benediction can possibly be arranged.
"Come and give witness to your faith in Christ present in the Eucharist," organizers said.
