Montgomery County Community College will be hosting an online reflection gathering Monday, Jan. 17, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. to remember and honor the life, legacy and profound impact of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Dr. King’s struggle for freedom, equality and dignity for all persons continues to be a compelling and clarion call today. The online gathering will be a time to focus on Dr. King’s deep compassion and care for the poor and dispossessed and how his life’s commitment for social and racial justice serves as an inspiring example to continue his work.
The presenters for the event include Reverend Dr. Charles Howard, University Chaplain and Vice President for Social Equity and Community, University of Pennsylvania; Reverend William Gipson, Special Adviser to the Vice President, University of Pennsylvania; and Dr. Keima Sheriff, MCCC Dean of Holistic Support.
