February Interfaith Story Circle
The February Interfaith Story Circle will meet at the Unitarian Universalist Church on Friday, February 23, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. The theme of this month’s Interfaith Story Circle is Facing Challenges with Greg Rosasco and Whitney Mikkelsen as featured storytellers.
This month marks the 8th meeting of the Interfaith Story Circle since its inception in March of 2023. The heart-to-heart process of storytelling and story listening fosters an appreciation for the commonality of human experience and builds community.
The Interfaith Story Circle is an outgrowth of the United Faiths Walk of Peace that takes place each year in Dunedin. Its purpose is to promote peace, justice, and mutual respect by bringing faith communities together for fellowship, dialogue, and increased knowledge of each other’s faith.
Tim Conroy, a participant in all 8 of the Interfaith Story Circles, describes his experience as follows: “Coming to the Story Circle has enriched my life and given me hope in these challenging times.”
