Shoot Down Taxes Event
Americans for Prosperity-Florida (AFP-FL), the premier grassroots advocacy organization committed to promoting economic freedom and opportunity, will host a community range day event on how the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act can keep more money in residents’ pockets. The event will be held Saturday, June 28.
The Act is set to expire at the end of the year, and allowing it to lapse would result in substantial tax increases, taking money directly out of the pockets of many hardworking Florida families. To emphasize what is at stake, AFP-FL is inviting residents to the “Shoot Down Taxes” event, where marksmen of all experience levels will gather to enjoy a day at the range and symbolically take aim at burdensome federal taxes.
