USMNT vs. Uruguay
The USMNT returns to Tampa for the first time since 2018, a venue that has hosted the team for World Cup Qualifiers, Gold Cup group matches, and now a second road to the World Cup challenge match. The Tampa Bay soccer community is also stronger than ever, boasting a prominent youth soccer scene, the rise of the USL Super League’s Tampa Bay Sun F.C., and complemented by the rich tradition of the Tampa Bay Rowdies. The community has also hosted many of the country’s most prominent soccer events and stars, including multiple Gold Cups, SheBelieves Cups, and, most recently, a visit from the superstar Lionel Messi and Inter Miami.
