DBS Tampa Bay, Inc. Lecture on Depression and Bipolar Disorder
A Lecture / Workshop on depression and bipolar disorder featuring three Psychiatrists from the University of South Florida School of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience presented by DBS Tampa Bay, Inc., takes place on Oct 23rd from 7pm – 8:15pm – Doors open at 6:30pm, with the program beginning at 7pm.
The lecture topic includes the epidemic of suicides and the current mental health crisis in America. Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder and Anxiety will be discussed as well as their treatments, Q & A will follow the lecture. No registration necessary. The event is open to the general public, and interested individuals diagnosed with a mood disorder. These lectures are held to increase the understanding of various mood disorders and also to help to dispel the stigma of mental illness.
