Art for the Holidays at the Music Gallery
Art for the Holidays: a FREE 5-person art show and sale featuring the artwork of David Kibby, Debra Campbell, Jill Marcus, Susan Huskey, and Sol Mendoza. Originals, prints, wearables, and artisic gifts will be available for purchase. David Kibby combines vibrant ink washes and intricate pen and ink drawings on various surfaces, including treated wooden panels, utilitarian surfaces, and found objects. Sol Mendoza draws inspiration from surrealism, abstract, expressionism, and incorporates hints of steampunk into her artwork. Debra Campbell uses some of her original mixed media pieces as surface design on wearables such as silk scarves, silk and chiffon kimonos and bags. Susan Huskey paints her landscapes and flowers with splashy and expressive brushstrokes, and is also offering mugs, pillows, tote bags, note cards, and ornaments imprinted with her art. Jill Marcus' interests lie in collage and paint. She especially enjoys making what she calls "My Ladies." There will also be live music and refreshments.
